Old Amsterdam
Originally produced by the Westland family at the end of the nineteenth century, Old Amsterdam is an extra mature gouda cheese with a distinctive character. Lambert Westland had a clear mission, he wanted Westland to produce a cheese that was just as delicious as the mature cheese that his mother always brought with her from the Jordaan district of Amsterdam. Old Amsterdam has a rich, intense taste and has had a resounding success in both domestic and foreign markets. It has won many international prizes. Pasteurised and not suitable for vegetarians.
