The Cheese Shop Morpeth is a family run business based in the heart of Morpeth, Northumberland. The shop was established in 1990, operating for over 30 years we are one of the largest cheese retailers in the North East of England. We stock over 160 different types of cheeses, including Local, National and European specialties. The Cheese Shop Morpeth was voted one of the best cheese shops in the UK by The Independent, and has featured on Channel 4 show ‘Come Dine with Me’.

We work closely with Artisan dairies and have a new range to choose from incorporating dairies from the West to the East Coast, to portray the best of North of England cheeses. As well as local produce, we stock unique and unusual varieties.
We also specialise in Wedding and Celebration Cheese Cakes in which you can incorporate any of our 160 cheeses, ensuring your cake is unique to your desires. Delivery of your cheese cake can be arranged to the venue of your choice.
Additionally, we stock a wide variety of condiments including, chutneys, preserves, marmalades and mustards, all of which are available to purchase online.
