We price our individual cheeses per 100g, but note that our minimum selling quantity per cheese is 200g. Choose the quantity you require and the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Product Description

This wedding cheese cake incorporates a very varied selection of cheeses including the following:

(bottom tier upwards)

First Tier

A quarter (around 500g) of Northumberland Nettle - This is one of our local Northumbrian cheeses made on the Blagdon estate. It is a very smooth, creamy cheddar which is not too strong, this making it appealing for a wide range of palates. Nettle cheese is made with real herbs and nettles, that dont sting! Very popular among children. 

Northumberland Smoked (quarter) - Another one of our local cheeses. This is a very creamy, mild, smoked cheddar cheese which holds a smooth, long lasting finish. A perfect balance between cheddar cheese and smoked cheese. Due to its mild taste, it is also very popular with all ages.

Cheviot Northumberland (quarter) - Cheviot is one of our local Northumberland cheeses made on the Blagdon Cheese Farm. It is a hard pressed cheese that is matured for up to 9 months resulting in a sensationally smooth and moist buttery taste.

Northumberland Original (quarter) - Made on the Blagdon Estate, using locally sourced cows milk. Original is made in the Gouda style, the curd is scalded, washed, moulded and brine-bathed, then matured for 12 months. Northumberland Original cheddar has a moist, mellow texture and a very mild flavour.

Northumberland Hadrian (quarter) - This delicious creamy cheddar is produced using pasturised cows milk and vegetarian rennet. This cheese is combined with caraway seeds, which stimulates and cleanses the palate. Hadrian is dry and sophisticated.

Redesdale Sheeps (quarter) - Redesdale is our most popular sheeps cheese. This local, sweet, subtle sheeps cheese has a rich velvety texture. Made with pasturised sheeps milk. Matured to give a stronger flavour, gold award winner Yorkshire show 2014.

Second Tier

Black Bomber (quarter) - This is an exceptionally popular black rinded, Welsh, creamy cheddar infused with salt crystals. We really recommend this fantastic cheese for all ages. It is a fabulously strong extra mature cheddar which is powerfull but still mellow.

Red Devil (quarter) - Red Devil is another of our Welsh cheeses. It is a Red Leicester combined with chillies and crushed peppers resulting in an extreamly hot and spicy kick. A colourful red rinded cheese that is a great addition to any cheese board. Contain colouring and preserves.

Green Thunder (quarter) - This green rinded cheese is again made at the Snowdonia Cheese Company in Wales. Green Thunder is a creamy, mature cheddar with the addition of garlic and garden herbs. This results in a strong, unique and very recognisable flavour. A powerful and delicious cheese.

Pickle Power (quarter) - Our fourth Welsh cheese also made at Snowdonia. Pickle Power incoporates the fantastic combination of strong cheddar and tangy pickled onions. A tasty and very powerful cheese that is difficult to resist.

Third Tier

Montagnolo Affine - This is an absolutely delicious German blue cheese. Montagnolo Affine is a triple cream soft cheese that is only ripened on the surface and is marbled with blue veins. It combines the texture and rich tastes of a triple creme brie, with the distinct and lightly biting flavour of a blue cheese. Won the 'Best Cheese in the World Award 2013'.

Reiver Truckle (around 600g) - Reiver is another one of our local cheeses made on the Blagdon Estate. It is a smooth, farmhouse cheese which is naturally rinded. Its mild flavour has an almost caramel taste. A cheese that all ages will enjoy.

Elsdon Goats Truckle (around 400g) - Another local Northumberland Goats cheese. Elsdon is a very traditional goats cheese with a firm texture, pleasant tang and a refreshingly clean finish.


This cheese wedding cake includes 3 Neufchatel Hearts (150g each) - This brie heart-shaped cheese is very soft and creamy, unlike other soft-white-rinded cheeses, it has a grainy texture. This cows milk cheese that originates from Normandy is very easy to love and is a perfect addition to top of any celebration cheese cake. 

This whole wedding cake weighs around 8 and a half kilos. This size would accommodate around 100 people.
