The Cheese Shop in Morpeth was established in 1990. It is one of the largest cheese retailers in the North East of England, selling over 150 different types of cheeses, British and Continental.

The shop sells as many local products as possible. The famous local Northumberland Cheeses from Blagdon, and the world recognised unpasteurised cheeses from Doddington, as well as Colston and Basset Blue Stilton, and six different strong Cheddars, 15 goats cheeses, lots of ewes milk cheeses, and even buffalo milk cheese, plus lots more in a selection that really is hard to beat.

Voted one of the best cheese shops in the UK by The Independent 2004 Plus, we have even exported cheeses to Asmara to Ambassador Murray for The Queen's birthday party.
